Job Description :
- Plan, design, and execute well intervention operations for company’s offshore gas fields, ensuring technical integrity, operational safety, and cost efficiency throughout the well lifecycle. This includes workover, well stimulation, slickline, wireline operations, and related activities in alignment with company standards, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements
Requirements :
- Minimum bachelor’s degree in Petroleum Engineering, Chemical Engineering or other related Engineering disciplines.
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in drilling function in Oil & Gas Industry.
- Have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in drilling and completion activities.
- Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience in well completion and workover operations in offshore oil and gas projects.
- Able to apply well control procedures to manage and prevent well control issue during well completion operation and well intervention.
- Solid experience in planning and supervising completion and well intervention campaigns (such as upper/lower completions, sand control, PDHG, well testing, slickline &wireline operation, wellhead maintenance, chemical treatment, and production enhancement techniques etc.)
- Familiarity with completion\intervention standards such as API, ISO, NORSOK, NACE MR0175, and with best practices in completion software and modeling tools, and basic knowledge of HPHT and sour gas environment considerations.
- Knowledgeable in tubing design, stress analysis, erosion modeling, Liquid loading simulation and fluid loss/sand production simulation is preferred.
- Able to conduct basic analysis of issue, time requirement and probability success in the well abandonment operations.
- Strong understanding of offshore operations, HSE compliance, and logistics in offshore work environments.
- IWCF Level 3 (Well control, IADC, Equivalence requirement) certification is preferable.
- Proficient in landmark design software (WellPlan, WellCat) and Completion Manager or equivalent software.
- Familiar with WIMS interface for referencing barrier envelopes, MASP limits, and integrity requirements.
