Responsibilities :
- Strategise, plan, and execute all marketing campaigns / projects in-line with business objectives. Conceptualise campaigns from end-to-end, develop cross-channel marketing and promotional plans, and see through all aspects of campaign / project management to drive results. Key projects include MPL Festival, season-long ticketing management, brand collaborations, and more.
- Identify, pursue, and execute marketing partnerships to drive business objectives and value creation. Work with partners to maximise value exchange and impact while driving ROI for the league, such as enhancing the overall branding of MPL ID, driving sponsorship revenue potential or cost savings for the league, and more.
- Own all aspects of ticketing management. Ensure MPL ID’s ticketing targets are met (e.g. ticket sales and revenue), drive ticketing promotions in an impactful and timely manner, ensure strong data and performance tracking, while managing stakeholders (e.g. ticketing platform, franchise teams, etc).
- Front all marketing collaborations with the MPL ID franchise teams with the goal of growing each teams’ marketing capabilities, community activations, branding, and overall integration / investment into the league. Manage a season-long calendar of all co-marketing programmes, cultivate strong rapport with all teams, proactively pursue collaboration opportunities, and become a trusted marketing expert to the teams.
- Ensure the success of all MPL ID sponsor campaigns / initiatives by working closely with the BD team. Understand each sponsor’s goals / metrics and execute strong brand activations in-line with sponsors’ expectations. Proactively pursue opportunities in utilising sponsors’ resources to enhance the league.
- Manage all aspects of the MPL ID website from seasonal updates, ticket selling functionality, and other website enhancements to drive traffic growth season-on-season.
Qualifications :
- Possess a minimum of 6-8 years of experience in partnerships, activations, business development, project management, brand management, or related fields. Previous experience in the sports, entertainment, esports, or technology industries are preferred, with agency experience considered a plus.
- Possess a strong track record of success in cross-channel campaign conceptualisation, promotion, execution, and timeline management.
- Has a sense for strategic planning, understanding and capturing opportunities, and value creation with limited resources via win-wins.
- Demonstrate proactive self-starter qualities, a strong ability to communicate and manage stakeholders, coupled with a strong desire for success and excellence. The ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and handle pressure effectively is essential.
- Showcase the ability to function as a strong, front-facing individual contributor while also managing a small team and/or agency resources.
- Possess a can-do attitude, with a willingness to roll up sleeves and work independently. Persistence in overcoming challenges and the ability to think creatively to find solutions are essential.
- Exhibit strong emotional intelligence and interpersonal skills, with a teachable and humble demeanor.
- Display excellent proficiency in written and spoken English and Bahasa Indonesia.
- Hold a university degree in marketing, business, communications, or equivalent field.
